The Postschl\u00f6ssl, just 50 meters from our 4-star superior Hotel Post, is a unique retreat. Its fascinating history dates back to 1560, when it served as a post station for the imperial postman of F\u00fcssen and Lermoos under Emperor Maximilian I and Emperor Charles V. The Alte Post, now the Postschl\u00f6ssl, originally functioned as a family residence and later as a guest house. Even Johann Wolfgang von Goethe stayed at this inn during his trip to Italy. The old vaulted ceiling on the first floor is just as impressive as the comfortable staircase and the wide corridors, which were unusual for the time. In 2002, the former “Alte Post” was extensively renovated and renamed the “Post Schl\u00f6ssl”. Our Schl\u00f6ssl is a historical gem and our aim is to preserve it as an inviting place of comfort and well-being for our guests. <\/p>\n
