Sky Walk: Viewpoints in the Zugspitz region<\/strong>
The Tuftl Alm viewing platform in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena provides a magnificent view of the Lermoos valley basin at 1,486 meters above sea level. On the platform, you can step ten meters above the mountain and enjoy completely new perspectives of the mountain world around Zugspitze. This unique 360-degree panoramic view of the Wetterstein mountain range, the Mieminger Kette, the Lechtal and Ammergau Alps does not require much effort, but the reward is still great.
The AlpspiX viewing platform, which is located above the Alpspitzbahn mountain station in Garmisch and offers visitors an incomparable view of the surrounding mountains, takes you noticeably higher. If you make it to the end of the 25-metre-long platform, you can look down through the glazed front into the H\u00f6llental valley 1000 meters below. Two long, intersecting steel walkways form the X-shaped platform. The best way to get to the platform is to take the Alpspitzbahn cable car up to the Osterfelderkopf and then walk 5 minutes up to the viewing platform. <\/p>\n

It’s time to change your perspective and experience the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena from a bird’s eye view. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a pilot to enjoy free flight. Alexander Rauter with his flying school in Lermoos is the perfect contact when it comes to paragliding expertise. Together with the cable cars, he has created the perfect conditions for paragliding, making it possible to enjoy sensational views of the Tyrolean mountains from a bird’s eye perspective. Tickets are available from Bergbahnen Langes in Lermoos and Bergbahnen Berwang. <\/p>\n
